Indian Cyber Army has committed what you would call ‘cyber-attacks’ in protest against several military contractors, companies, lawmakers, and governments, and has continuously sought to fight against threats to our freedoms on the Internet. And since you consider state control of the Internet to be in the best interest of the various nations of your military alliance, you therefore consider us a potential threat to international security.
So we would like to make it clear that we, in reality, pose no threat to the people of your nations. Indian Cyber Army is not a reckless swarm attacking the websites of governments and companies out of hatred or spite. We fight for freedom. For ourselves, and the people of the world, we seek to preserve the liberty granted to the millions of people who have found it on the Internet. We care not whether the actions we have taken in this struggle have complied with laws of the India or any other country. What your lot fails to understand is that we live in cyberspace. The only laws that apply are the laws set forth by our individual consciences. We break your nations’ laws when we recognize those laws to stand between the people and their freedom. Indian Cyber Army is not simply „a group of super hackers”. Indian Cyber Army is the embodiment of freedom on the web.

#OpIndia Favouring Pakistan?

We are aware of the flop show of operation India and the reason for taking this operation a bad shape is appalling but the sensational fact that came out is, Pakistan hackers always targeted India's top agency and sites. Now days they are just relaxing by being one of the member of #OpIndia and participating in the attacks if necessary. Many such websites are rooted by them in the name of #OpIndia mission. Earlier the focus of Indian hackers was to protest against such practices and there was control over Pakistan hackers by defacing their sites. Long back the peace deal was made to stop these attacks on each other’s countries and all of sudden there was breach of this peace treaty between these two countries. Recently a hacker called “ j4ckh4xor, ( I won’t disclose his full details )attacked Pakistan sites at wrong time and in reaction CBI was hacked. He is the hacker who hacked Appin’s website and many more, unfortunate incidences. This guy is working in a good ‘IT’ company and holding good profile. The way he randomly hacked these sites were not expected. He landed up displaying his immaturity and foolish presentation.

Cyber-attackers who identified themselves as the "Pakistan Cyber Army" have hacked the website of India's top police agency. The website of the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) was hacked by programmers who left a message saying that the attack was in revenge for similar Indian assaults on Pakistani sites. The hackers signed their message on the Indian police website: "Long Live Pakistan."

Now the, #OpIndia operation has reduced the burden and tension of Pakistani hackers, because the task what they were executing, now Indians hackers have carried their legacy by attacking their own country websites. Shame on Indian hackers those promoting this kind of operation and asking skids to get involved in D-dos attacks, such as the recent attack on Indian army Website and NDTV website.

Earlier there was deterrence in outside country and enemy neighbors for hacking Indian sites, now they are thrilled with the operation India, the reason you fools are damaging your own country by full feeling their dreams what else you need? Don’t you think even the corruption in Pakistan is also on high end? Don’t you think even the hackers in Pakistan are capable of sending messages to their government? But still they will not involve in any such practices because they love their country and its cyber property in spite of all odds. They are the true patriots having head on shoulders. More over they are enjoying your foolishness, because you people are more than enough to cause damage to India and Indians. Sometimes I really doubt your credentials? Are you true Indian? Or a Pakistan mortgaged soul in India?

Our country is a democratic country and we have larger population than Pakistan, so the problems are quite serious. On entire globe almost every country has some or other internal challenges and issues. But this is the first ever odd example in Indian history that our own country hackers are damaging its online infrastructure. Looking at all this painful saga, I feel like saluting Pakistani hacker for their love and dedication towards their own country.

According to the Indian Computer Emergency Response Team, a government agency that tracks IT security issues, more than 3,600 Indian websites were hacked in the first six months of these After the Mumbai terror strikes, anti-India elements in Pakistan are now planning an attack on Indian computer networks, intelligence agencies have warned. Already Pakistani hackers are trying out a dry run against Indian networks through popular websites registered there after the Mumbai terror strikes.Every time the relations between the two countries dampen, Pakistanis start attacking Indian sites and Indian hackers attack Pakistan websites. But now India has big security challenge because this time the attack is not from Pakistan, it is from own Indian Hackers. If this continues then the group should change their names to “Indian Cyber Attackers” “Gundas Of Hindustan” “Indian cyber warfare” and rest Indian enemy Hackers other small groups.

Dear Madam thanks a lot for giving us good coverage in your esteemed news paper and encouraging our “Indian Cyber Army members” to stand by this country when ever cyber security challenges are biggest concern.

It was quite shocking when I came to know some Kislay Chaudhary called your office and questioned our integrity, No one can say that “Indian Cyber Army” is not belong to us, Even I also can’t declare that ICA is only mine because this title is been possessed by many people of this country.. Indian Cyber Army is the group of Hackers or individual from different parts of India, who care for Nation! I believe, anyone can use the name ICA, who is interested to work for Indian’s Cyber Space. Yeah, may be the way of working will be different but the aim is same. Here on our site everyone is openly invited to join us, either he/she is from India or any other country. We are “Indian Cyber Army”, that means we love Indians first and we are here for our country..

In the recent past there were people claiming for the name Indian Cyber Army. Actually this title is belongs to Indishell group and rest all are third party or they may possess this name but they are no one to stop others by using the same. Since so many months, Kislay Chaudhary and his group had tussle with Indian Hackers and they are none other than Indishell guys. Indian Cyber Army is a group of Hackers, Penetration Testers, developers, Security Experts, Programmers, and Cyber Geeks, cyber security experts, and even defacers. To deface and express their disagreement over certain patriotic issues they have been using this name and there is nothing wrong. For them Hacking is a weapon for Cyber War, they even believe in using Hacking skills for Security and Development. Without your knowledge they have secured many such Indian websites.

I have cyber security as business, but they are doing it without any commercial gains. They are not against any Country, Community, and Group. Indian Cyber Army is the open platform for everyone to come and join! They are against just against antinational elements. So what is wrong in it?

They are the members from different countries and Religions, groups. I think this is the best example of Team work where everyone is dedicatedly having concentration mission..They too don’t believe in cyber war and working underground. They believe in giving it back when some casualty comes to this nation as terror or threat. And I am sure they don’t need to prove us!

The Purpose of Indian Cyber Army is to provide security to cyber space of this country and safe guard nation’s interest. Thousands of young aspiring hackers are getting trained by them; they are the huge group with utmost integrity. Real Hackers should know to deface a website or who can root venerable servers if needed. Lucky, silent poison Atul Dwivedi I am sure these guys are good at code programs, find vulnerabilities, can write exploits and can test the every possible way to hack or secure a system.

The meaning of ICA is that, a step taken by an Indian for securing the cyber world and taking stand with best of the best persons of Cyber Field. Here ICA is not mean to only a group of 10-15 members, Even in actual, Indian Cyber Army should include every that person who is interested to be the part of National Security.

Now even we also possess the trade mark of Indian cyber Army, we have magazine titled Indian cyber Army, and even society and company registrations formalities are under progress. No one can stop us using this name or no one has right to stop anyone using this name. Not even kislay Chaudhary.

If Kislay has any issues over this title, then he can go legal and fight the battle, and that he cannot do, because he has nothing to claim. more over we also posses ICA website that is www.indiancyberarmy.info Trade mark registration can be done under any class by any one, with the same name. That does not mean the one who got trade mark; possess every right over the name or banner. Mr. Kislay chaudhary stop using cheap traits and back stabbing others. If you have any issues come across the table or go to court let judiciary take call over this subject. Stop phoning, threatening, warning and accusing people over false issues.

Indian Government web-sites need attention

The Hacker collective Anonymous joined the fight against Indian corruption by hacking the site of the Indian government IT website NIC, the National Informatics Center. Ostensibly the hack was a retaliation for the government’s violence against Indian activist Baba Ramdev, who had been staging a hunger strike to protest government corruption, which the government recently disbanded with violent force. The hack, which the group claims took just three minutes, displayed the above message on the site. NIC quickly moved to take the page offline, but a cached Google page confirmed the direct hit by Anonymous. The hack comes just days after Anonymous hacked the government database of Iran, exposing private emails from that country. While no data was stolen or exposed from this latest hack in India, Anonymous’ message was clear: the corruption of institutional forces runs against individual freedom.

A statement by Anonymous said, “Over fifty years ago, Indian Freedom Fighters laid down their lives for our freedom. In the end, what was it all for? Today our politicians ride slip-shod over our laws, corruption is rampant. If the brutal way Baba Ramdev’s hunger strike was crushed is anything to go by, it would seem that India is now on its way to becoming an undemocratic ‘democracy’.”
This is something really worth giving a thought, why all of sudden ANONYMUS has to voice for Indian issues, give a thought, you hackers may realize the fact and reason behind it.

In the past, we have witnessed many of our websites being hacked including India's Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI), colleges, NGOs, Indian companies and religious organisations among others by Pakistani Hackers. And, in the recent past, ONGC website too was hacked by them. And now, there are many chances that they would target SAIL (Steel Authority of India) website as it has many vulnerabilities and can be easily hacked.

The unfortunate part is that in spite of being warned by Kaizen India Info – Sec Solutions Pvt. Ltd (A cyber security firm that is working towards making our country free from cyber threats) about the loopholes to SAIL authorities, no necessary actions have been taken so far. Similarly, Kaizen had also informed higher authorities of ONGC about the vulnerabilities in their website but they too did not pay heed to the warning and ultimately landed up getting hacked by Pakistani hackers. Sadly, whenever a website gets hacked, fingers are always pointed towards the hackers but the fact is that the website owners themselves are responsible for not taking proper care and leaving their websites open with all the loopholes inviting hackers to attack.

A tit-for-tat campaign has been in practice by groups on both Indian and Pakistani sides dating back to the late 1990s when tensions over the disputed Himalayan territory of Kashmir brought the nuclear-armed neighbours to the brink of war.

In 2009, India’s one of the biggest banks Bank of Baroda, a global bank with a network of branches in India, and an international presence in 21 countries was hacked by Pakistani hacker group called Pakbugs.

“Indians place little or no value on the kind of data individuals and organisations in many countries prefer to keep confidential, like passport and bank account details or work contracts,” Cyber Expert Vijay Mukhi said.
"Privacy is a concept not rooted in India culture. I don't think we can change that and I don't think it's going to change in my lifetime," he added.
"The government doesn't care" about protecting information online. Corporates for some reason just don't want to spend the money. They don't think it happens often. Web security is a low priority," he said.

Very recently, the website of Sony BMG has been hacked and an anonymous poster has uploaded a user database to pastebin.com, including the usernames, real names and email addresses of users registered on SonyMusic.gr. This kind of company websites getting hacked not only affects the company itself but also the customers. Interestingly, many of the companies are insured and thus they get their losses recovered leaving the customers to suffer.

The question that arises is who will take action against these attacks? Government has been maintaining silence even though one after the other their websites are been attacked and details are been leaked or deleted. Is our government so weak? Now, after CBI, ONGC, Bank of Baroda and many other official websites, SAIL can be the next target. Hope that the SAIL authorities are listening and would take necessary steps towards protecting their website

The SAGa of server hack

The hacker mindset itself is great victory and debacle for their growth. When my server got hacked, there were many hackers settling the scores with their rivals and some of them were sighting the reasons for hack, many of them felt bad and few of them thought I got it hacked for publicity. Anyways whom to give credit or whom to hold responsible for this hack is still a big question.

Look guys you all have always blamed CAT for every good bad ugly reason, but have you ever thought the guys amongst you are digging your graves and providing your info to us. I have not taken any legal action because I trust your potential of hacking. More over no hacker can eliminate anyone’s online existence. This is just a myth. With the blessings of Google, there are hundred pages dedicated to me, there are thousands of pages talks about me. There are hundreds of youtube clips, shows about me. Whom are you going to stop? And whom you will hack? What if I create beautiful blogs of my publications and create social network profile and do our publicity? Will you be able to stop me?

NOP ….No one can eliminate or finish someone’s online existence ever.. The reason everything has limit to it.. And if suppose to reach all these places Hackers make special efforts and try doing what they want to do..I think I am the most important target and I can scare them..lolz! guys be focused on your carrier, there are better things to do, utilized your skills and talent to display in better fashion, that may benefit you with better future..Hacking cat :P no gains..I am sorry to say this..but you are making me feel very very great and important..now let me come to main topic

(Indians in USA).... all I know is, they are pissed on Gaurav for 1 reason (calling ICW a group of skiddies)... and glorifying himself... as it was in one of the mails of him to inj3ct0r where he requested for r45c4l at inj3ct0r email... and they hate r45c4l for one more reason -> teaming up with cat-techie...!!! today morning I got an email saying 'congrats' but, I am not impressed in fact, I felt bad coz once upon a time... These are the three different stories given by him. let me speak my mind, yes I gathered about many hackers, it’s not only one hacker in particular, that time I was just a journalist and researcher. My focus was to get in unknown world and find answers to all hidden crust. My question here is why you all blame me? Why not those people who mortgaged their own communities pride in my hand? Anyways Slowly slowly I became one of you. Whatever reservations a common man and authorities had about hackers, I tired becoming voice and represented everywhere in my own capacity. It’s not you but I have never exposed any hacker or his personal life to anyone. I am rich by pocket; but I am really rich by people and friends. My profiles have more than 5000 friends, my public page has another 3000 likes, and all my groups have thousands of members. I have an organization, where 90% of staff are from middleclass background, we all alike people has set this firm and came up with flying colors and set a trend in Media market. We all are between the age group of 19 to 30.

I never thought bloody this CAT would be really subject of discussions, and will overnight gain name (Good, bad and ugly) and fame and all of sudden become famous. It my confession, I feel honored because; many young web developers, designers, hackers and writers are empowered by my organization. I have never harmed anyone, and known for my integrity. That is what I have been doing and so far I have never crossed my limits. Let the hackers make my server a sports ground, about this I am openly going to challenge some people on 1st may 2nd anniversary, I don’t play hide and seek. And don’t approve the same. India would have reached final despite loss

Had India lost the World Cup semi-final match to Pakistan at Mohali on Wednesday, the Indian government would have been under pressure to demand a repeal of the result. If Prime Minister Manmohan Singh had not stepped in to prevent a controversy that had the potential to snowball into an international crisis, India could have come close to invoking a rarely-cited section of the International Cricket Council (ICC) code of conduct to annul a Pakistani victory.According to highly placed sources at the Prime Minister’s Office, Singh, in an uncharacteristic display of firmness, set aside moves by the Indian cricket board to invoke a dusty law in the ICC rulebook that would have disqualified Pakistani players of disputed domicile. This exclusive comes in the backdrop of a highly anticipated World Cup final between India and Sri Lanka at Mumbai’s Wankhede Stadium, even as the foreign secretaries of India and Pakistan met marking the resumption of official contacts, which India broke off after militants attacked Mumbai in late 2008.ICC’s Law 1.4 (11), that explicates the eligibility criteria for players, clearly states that to play Under-19 cricket or above at the international level, a player has to be a) a national or b) be born in a recognized country or c) is resident in the country for at least 90 days in each of the immediately preceding seven years. A sub-section of the law that enumerates a "disputed domicile" states that any player from a country/state not recognized by all Test-playing and associate members of the ICC can be disqualified at any time if they fail to submit a certificate of clearance issued by the world cricketing body 30 hours prior to a match to the host country. Several players of the current Pakistani World Cup squad were born in Pakistan occupied Kashmir (PoK) and have stated PoK as their domicile in documents submitted to the Ministry of External Affairs.However, due to a technical snag at the Pakistani Foreign Ministry the players reportedly could not submit their ICC clearance certificate to the MEA on time, a technicality the Indian side was ready to pursue had they lost to Pakistan in the semis.
This basically means that had India lost to Pakistan in the semis it would be still eligible to play Sri Lanka in the final had it invoked Law 1.4(11) to get some of Pakistan’s top spinners and a middle-order batsman disqualified. The law further states that if four or more players are disqualified then the match result is null and void and the defeated team is automatically eligible for a walkover.

Twitter's Trending Topics Reinforce User's Love Of Mainstream Media

Big media still rules when it comes to Twitter, it seems. Hewlett-Packard researchers have been looking into where Twitter's Trending Topics come from, and the answer may be somewhat depressing to those convinced that the internet is all about democraticizing information. According the HP report, Trending

Topics are all about the retweets, with as high as 31% of a TT consisting of retweets instead of original content. They're also shortlived, with the average length of time they remain popular being less than 40 minutes, and tend to come from mainstream media sources; in a 40-day period, 72% of the most popular - and retweeted - tweets came from media outlets like CNN, the New York Times and the BBC (which, to some degree, makes sense - People are still attuned to repeat what they consider comes from some voice of authority, such as media institutions), a finding that mirrors the recent GlobalWebIndex Wave report that suggested that the internet was turning users back into passive consumers, instead of producers in their own right. Obviously, Twitter needs to be stopped before it's too late.

Brands that want a little piece of that sweet Twitter action are going to have to pay a little extra in the future, if rumors about Twitter increasing the cost of "promoted trend" ads by tens of thousands of dollars are true. According to the All Things Digital blog, Twitter has started telling buyers that the price of a one-day stint at the top of the Trending Topics bar will go from between $70,000-$80,000 to $100,000-$120,000. Considering the spots have been continually selling out since their introduction last year, it's unlikely that the price bump will cause anyone to blink. But the news that the company is thinking of doing a similar increase for its less-successful Promoted Accounts program might. Looks like Twitter is serious about tripling its revenue this year, and potentially without its users - most of whom ignore Promoted Trends or Accounts quite easily - even noticing.

When actress Elizabeth Hurley tweets that she loves a specific Estee Lauder product, she could be getting paid the big bucks to say so. Since the actress has been the face of the brand for over 15 years, it seems like quite the coincidence that every once and awhile she gives Estee Lauder shout out. Although the FTC ruled late last year that endorsed tweets in the U.S. must be clearly labeled, no such mandate exists in Hurley's native England. Or at least, not yet. The UK's Office of Fair Trading (OFT) has begun cracking down on deceptive endorsed tweets, starting with its attack on PR company Handpicked Media. The OFT said in a statement that "online advertising and marketing practices that do not disclose they include paid for promotions are deceptive under trading laws."

This crackdown would put tweets like Hurley's in jeopardy of punishment, since the actress neither mentions the companies she endorses on her twitter page nor adds the hashtag #ad to her endorsed tweets.But full disclosure of endorsed tweets doesn't mean the end to twitter advertising. Stateside celebrities like Kim Kardashian and Snoop Dogg still rake in thousands (up to $10,000 and $3,000 respectively) to tweet about a product, even with the #ad hashtag.

I ndia is far behind in terms of technology to understand SPAM, which takes over the personal security for ride without anyone being aware of it. Is there any spam law in India? Indian government is yet to give its answer for this. Everyday, every hour we see unwanted messages buzzing on our mobile without any sense. It is high time that developing country like ours have a legislation regarding unsolicited commercial SMSes that pops up leaving people irritated. Few service providers claim that if anyone makes a compliant to them, only then they can control these kinds of issues within forty five days. But, in reality this rarely happens. These kind of This SMSes over mobile communications are nothing but ads, news, rumors and promotion = SPAM. Nowadays even in the name of friendship club prostitution and flesh trading is done over SMS. These SMSes are never sent by any service provider but from some third party. These vendors hold huge number of database with mobile numbers of customers which they pass/sell for ads, promotion for few amounts of rupees. It is advised to be alert because, generally in shopping malls, people are given forms to fill in the name of any lucky draws. These people are generally found chasing the customers entering the mall. In some cases, people are even cheated in the name of voting via SMS. Getting greedy over all unwanted schemes and discounts, we land up in mess disclosing all our personal details to these spammers. Is this ever observed by any Cyber Bureau of India? Definitely yes since they too have cell phones and email ids and these spammers doesn’t spare anyone. When they are aware of these spams happening then why don’t they take any action? Is it really difficult to crack such syndicates?

The another kind of spam we all entertaining are “TD-sell 1.own property @2000pm in **** city near developed housing and resorts. “ Details contact - +91 900776 *****, you own so and so club holiday package, or won a lottery “BL- GIFT 2. Congrats you won a brand new fast track watch from smart platinum. In order to get – claim, delivery charges 755/- Rs contact: #+91 98345 ***** . TA-TKR 3. Tomorrow there will be holiday to school, colleges n gov office due to protest over some issue. These kinds of messages are broadcast to lakhs of user at a time. What if rumor, threat or abusive messages are been broadcasted? Can we get lakhs of customers’ mobile numbers in 5000 Bucks? Do we really have any Privacy act / law? This never happen in other countries – the reason is that they have strict spam law and if someone violates the law, the spammers are cracked over night. Why India lack in cyber security? The reason is that we have failed to sense these kinds of next generation threat.

First Mumbai police cyber cell website was hacked, and then vulnerabilities in traffic and highways police websites were found. Inspite of informing them about the loopholes, the issues are not been fixed yet. Pak Cyber Army already declared that they have rooted into maximum government websites, CBI was recently hacked and our expertise was exposed in front of the world. Now mumbaicustom.gov.in is on the hit list of them. The Bhabha Atomic Research Centre (BARC) continues to be a source of worry for security agencies as intelligence inputs suggest that the premier nuclear facility and its staff housing area are on the hit-list of Pakistan-based terror groups. Extra-vigilant security officials are having a tough time in manning the "Anu Shakti Nagar", the residential complex housing nearly 10,000 people adjacent to the facility, battling BARC authorities for regulating campus' entry and exit, official’s privy to the arrangements said. Recently, two labourers from Kashmir were detained by security personnel manning the complex and released only after their background check was done."BARC has been constant sources of worry for us. Last month on 31st Jan, Punjab Sind bank was hacked but bank authorities were not even aware of this. Gulshan Rai from CERT informed them every thing well in advance but nothing was done. 90 percent of government websites are on the hit list of Pakistan hackers but Indian government is yet to wake up.

There are many so called ethical hacking classes mushrooming in India, the so called brands of these organizations cater hackers to create threat in common man’s life so that they send one of the ward to learn this baseless ethical hacking. They are using hackers for their business promotions. If someone disagrees to this, then my question is that if these institutions are producing hundreds of hackers a month, then why do we lack securities?

It estimates that the demand for Cyber security Professionals, at that time, would be around 90,000 in India. This figure is estimated to touch about 2, 00,000 worldwide. The industry estimates much higher demand in the local as well as overseas market with more and more attacks on systems worldwide. While in college if you had successfully hacked your way into your friends orkut account, edited it and had fun, and were even involved in hacking your college website and adding your ideas to your dean’s thoughts then you may be a budding hacker. And let us inform you that Hacking is illegal! But what if you get paid for what you are good at and still be considered within the law. Surprising but yes, you can be an Ethical Hacker. It is quiet natural to hear from people in the IT field that, what we know today will become of no use tomorrow. With so many changes happening in the IT world this is very common. I f you get in to flash back, there were few communities and groups on Orkut which were working for the pride of this nation.(HMG was also one of them), Hindu militant Group made its mark, then showing the concern for country. A group of Pakistani hackers use to abuse innocent girls of our country, by posting their morphed nude pictures along with the pictures of their family members and also their personal details. Initially the group HMG tried convincing Pakistani Hackers about stop targeting blameless girls. However HMG failed to convince them (Hoodlum Don/ Hoody is the founder of HMG). During that time, the users were not that regular on Orkut or any other social networking sites. Hindu Militant Group, Had India not been a vibrant democracy and where Hinduism an intolerant faith, we would have witnessed many violent and perverted responses in cyber space. The owner of HMG gave offer to Gaurav to join their group and to witness the happenings going around. This is how Gaurav, one of the founder member of ICW started forming a team with the brilliant hackers to deface Pakistani sites. There were many brilliant hackers like Sameer, Godvin, Bond, witu (wireless punter) the integral part of ICW. Not only these boys but the girls also gave best ot contribution to this group.

See the twist here these people were at that time trying to convey their disagreement over insulting Hindu woman and god. But in other hand HMG group’s one of the female member provided photographs of the female group members to Pakistani hacker and they were misused. This hacker babe is still there on our Face Book community and very well from my own Native place Hyderabad. Sad but crood, most of the time woman is woman’s enemy. Now also she enjoys displays and making mockery of each profile with utmost abusive language. She loves when girls are abused on her wall, its sick physic.

The other hand there is girls like ‘EG’, my team girls are her diehard fans. She shows those guys their place who tries messing with her, very much dedicated to country, aggressive yet loving and full of compassion. I salute this girl and value her attitude. I feel proud of HMG when I look at girls like her, but also feel sorry for one thing, they could control over other country but couldn’t clean their own carpet. If you go to face-book walls, it has become place of war, false ego and random abuses, vulgar language, perversion and mean approach. To stand by one girl as supporter , all guys collectively hit other girl with most innovative slangs. Irony!

The other day Andhra Hacker displayed my blog screen short on his wall,( probelby it was tagged by some one) but read comments if not removed.. I mean..I really failed to understand what they were trying to convey? It’s there on blog, why need display? Ok you displayed, showed your concern for whom so ever, what have you achieved? nothing much See the double standards. AH guys they abuse like some body has given them right, Why? What have we done to you?

This line of thought was first propagated when some of the Hackers miserably failed in their malicious intensions.

Before we examine the ramifications of this allegation, it is important to understand the motivation that guides the disproportionate attention paid to two crude rumors. Nobody in their right minds has ever suggested that every Hacker is Criminal, real or potential. They unsuccessfully tried to hunt with the hound and run with the hare, but stopped short of endorsing the repugnant demand for revoking the ban on people like us. D o you remember these above written statements? Once they were made by ICW to protest against the defacements by Pakistani Hackers. There was peace treaty between ICW and PCA, it was mutually decided that no one will deface each other’s Government websites. But recently there was breach of this treaty; Pakistan Hackers once again are engaged in a round of defacing of government-run websites of our country, targeting such major organisations like CBI and defence. The cyber warfare began in mid-November. There are many hackers groups emerged after that in India. But most of them are just defacers not hackers.

The silence of Indian group of hackers known as ICW "Indian Cyber Warriors" is misunderstood by their own community, or may everyone is busy in their own life and unable to give much attention to ICW and there where the equations went wrong. ICW (Indian Cyber Warriors) is a group of hackers from India, and once upon a time all the core members worked at very senior posts in various security firms.

Leave them aside, I am damn sure they never come to you, they are happy in their group. They are alright with US(me and r45c4l). Hollow vessels makes big noise, guys barking dogs never bite. Stop barking please, we are not interested.

More over some so called high profile business man Hacker using abusive language was quite upsetting, first you cross your limits and then you get it back and when you are asked to evict you abuse, why? Fisrt place I am surprised how these people get so much time to be on social sites and toop so low? Facebook is the one site on the internet that is probably the most used. The amount of Facebook users are increasing dramatically on a daily basis. Facebook started out as a social networking site which mainly consisted of lots of young users but as Facebook currently stands there are users of all ages and walks of life. Inclusive in the Facebook security concerns is fake profiles. Facebook is currently being flooded with fake profiles. Due to the huge daily registration rate on Facebook, it is hard to keep track of who is a regular user and who is a Facebook fake. 50% of profiles on Face Book are fake.

As the guy was scaring anu (though she was not) that they were suppose to publish her profile picture in news paper because, he thinks its fake, I felt like laughing as a Journalist and lawyer. See above given profiles and tell me how many of them are holding their real pics including some Dev D and some Kai or who so ever. There is no law made, if you are using Salman Khan’s pic as your DP, its Salman Khan who can take legal action against you. That to if you are 100% sure the profile holder is not Salman Khan, or Salman has never given him permission to use his pic. I want these guys to go ahead and publish the stuff, some of them are soon appearing on TV that day see the mess from my side, because I was waiting for their public appearance. It has recently been discovered that over fifty percent of new Facebook profiles are actually fake. The question that may be asked is why are people setting up fake Facebook profiles?

Facebook does have an extremely clear and precise policy with regard to fake profiles. According to Facebook and its policy a fake profile will be deleted when the Facebook teams becomes aware of it. Fake profiles are causing huge problems for many innocent Facebook users who have genuine profiles. The factor that spammers and virus writers are using fake Facebook profiles to their advantage means that people will stop at nothing in order to get people online to do what they want. It is interesting to note that besides people creating fake Facebook profiles for the usage of malicious purposes or spam, people create fake Facebook profiles of celebrities and actors all the time. If you are a regular Facebook user and do a search for a celebrity of your choice, chances are very likely that this particular celebrity has a Facebook profile. The question that arises is if this genuine Facebook profile or is it a fake? The majority of the time there is no real way of telling. It can thus be said in conclusion: Don't take everything on Facebook.

The disclosures made by WikiLeaks have given a blunt and candid assessment of how American foreign policy is conducted. On Right Left and Centre, Wikileaks revelations has not only embarrassed America and exposed America's Diplomatic secrets but also India and several other countries. Supreme Court advocate Pavan Duggal, who specialises in cyber law, points out that starting a site like WikiLeaks could make the owner liable to paying a fine of up to Rs 5 crore per contravention under the IT (Amendment) Act, 2008. One may even attract a criminal liability of three to ten years in jail under various statutes and the Indian Penal Code.

“At one side where the government gives each and every individual the right to freedom and information, on the other side they are restricting the citizens from their expression. Is this justified? There should be a media like WikiLeaks in India which will expose the corrupt practice of our leaders,” says Amar Pawar, a BPO employee.

As per the RTI Act, information sought had to provided to the citizen within a period of maximum 30 days, but citizens in our country have to wait for more than two years to elicit any information from concerned departments. List of pending cases runs in thousands and remains without addressed. Since the voice of the common people goes unheard most of the times, their issues remain unnoticed. A journalists group plans to come up with a website named www.sabkileak.com which would be solely based to inspire transparency, exposure of evils for wider interest of nation; and thereby to bring blots on our system to books. Several cases go pending even though government officials and contractors have access to skeletons-in-the-cupboard, they find it risky to approach courts or journalists or any civilian out of the purview of government service on the grounds of safety of their interest. Thus, www.sabkileak.com shall facilitate relaying of such material uploaded by such government servants; who wish to expose evils in the system.

“People must get to know the truth of their leaders and its government. This can lead to bad apples being dropped off from the basket. Policies that have direct influence on you can be debated with justice. The country can eventually move forward due to its transparency. Recently we found a website where our hacker5 magazine openly kept for the downloading including 'Cyber Terror' with out any kind permission from writer or the publication house. There are certain provisions made where we can take action against this piracy like you can write it down to admin panel of the site owner. As per the new piracy act the punishment is imprisonment, penalty or both. Forget about these books but the website holder randomly kept all possible library of pirated magazines and books including, hacking material.
Our office sent legal notice to the person who dared to make our book available for the free download purpose and have also taken action against the site owner and soon papers would make him answerable for the crime ongoing and committed by him.
Now a day’s people just keep on looking for the medium for publicizing their so-called links of blogs or websites they are not even bothered about who’s who. As the day passes randomly all the hackers on face book rush via group to groups pasting their link of blogs or websites without taking pains to know weather any one even is interested to read the content related to the links even if you try to read the blogs it is difficult as the links are over flooded that you fail to make choice. There are several groups on face book and their exntire wall is filled with this useless stuff so wherever you go you come across this maddening links. Due to this charm of reading has got suppressed. I would like to make few suggestions to the entire hackers group to invite the post rather than to paste links. Forcibly posting links make no sense nor is a best solution.

HINDU, MUSLIM GODS ABUSED, STRIPPED ON FACEBOOK

Facebook is the most famous social utility that connects people with friends and others who work, study and live around them. But, this social networking site has become the modest weapon to abuse, insult and express hatred towards religions. Distressingly, a facebook page named Hindu has several images of both Hindu and Muslim gods cropped and merged with nude human bodies. Not only this, the page also includes pathetic and adult comments.
The owner or developer of the website http://www.hindunet.org/ has misused the facebook by creating a page with contents hurting sentiments of both Hindu and Muslim religion followers. The page has 79,872 followers and their only reason to be there seems to abuse other religion. Very sadly, there are number of images in which the Hindu gods are shown in compromising position. Whereas, there are also images which a pig is shown holding the holy Quran. Some pictures are so distressing that it cannot be explained. “It is surprising to know that these kinds of pages are entertained. Isn't there anyone to moderate? Facebook should look into this matter,” says Kiran Raghavan, a Bank employee.
The images can be found on the link http://www.facebook.com/ pages/Hindu/24525368223?v=photos. In one of the images, three Hindu gods are shown as 3 idiots as in the movie poster. Another one shows a pig resting over the Kaba of Mecca. Almost every deities are been abused. Every post is related to sexuality.

Harish Gupta, a resident of Borivali says, “Facebook should ban these kinds of pages which is spreading hatred towards other religions. People should protest against these anti-religion pages and make things safe for the future.” Adding further he said, “We should not get instigated rather we should live in peace and love. All religions are equal.”
Few months ago, Pakistan had banned facebook for a month of time due to the abuse made towards Islam. "Many pages are been created to target religions but still no proper actions have been taken. It is necessary that admin department of facebook should take care on these kinds of sensitive issues since this can result into a major physical war between the existing religions. Virtual war has already started this kind of stuff may also adversely affect the cyber space of many countries," said Mohammed Shaikh, a Dahisar resident. “These pages are intentionally made by people who possess evil intentions. Facebook is used by millions of people with different mentality and approach towards life. Though we cannot stop their evil thoughts but they can be definitely banned and discarded,” says Rehan Ali, a businessman. When AV contacted Vijay Mukhi, he said, “Government must issue letter to these kinds of websites and put an end to the insult of any religion. The miscreants should be booked under IT Act.”

The experience of women at the entry levels of the hacking scene, mostly in online chat groups, is one of relentless sexual harassment. It is a hard battle for women to be respected in a culture dominated by teenage boys for women hackers, there’s a different kind of glass ceiling to break. Hacking has traditionally been a man’s world. But women are quietly breaking into the hacker subculture, a loose group of computer enthusiasts who meet in online chat rooms and at real-life conventions.

Not surprisingly, as in other male-dominated spheres, these women are often harassed and mocked by certain insiders — though here it is by teenage boys, who make up most of the “entry levels” of hackerdom.
The chat rooms where beginning hackers often learn technical tricks are stocked with “little hacking boys from hell … how awfully rude they are, and how intelligent they are,” according to a hacker who goes by the handle Natasha Grigori and heads antichildporn.org, an organization of hackers who track down child pornographers on the Net.

But the few female hackers don’t network with each other — in fact, some of their greatest trouble comes from other women, called “scene whores” — hacker groupies who use sex to get ahead. Fortunately, the few women who break through to the “elite” ranks of hacking find that at the top, what matters is your technical skills, not your gender.
“If you can match their [male hackers’] skill level and better it, they’ll give you every ounce of respect. … It’s when a female comes in and tries to play on her being feminine, that doesn’t get you anything,” says Blueberry, a 32-year-old woman from Brisbane, Australia, who founded condemned.org, another anti-child porn organization.
ABCNEWS.com spoke to more than a dozen female hackers from the United States, Australia and New Zealand for this two-part series. Last week’s piece (see related story, right) looked at who the female hackers are; this week, we examine the challenges they face.
A note about names: Like most hackers, these women choose to go by online handles. Real names will be specifically marked as such.

Hackers vs. Scene Whores

there are plenty of women at hacker conventions — they’re just not all hackers. Some are girlfriends, some wives. But the female hacker’s nemesis is the “scene whore.” These latex-clad hacker groupies haunt conventions and offer teenage boys cyber sex in chat rooms to boost their own self-esteem, female hackers say.

“The average woman, in today’s society, could remain unnoticed,” says Blaise, a 29-year-old woman from New Zealand. “Looking at an average woman in a computer society that consists of mainly antisocial men, she will be the center of attention. It’s those girls that give every woman a reputation...and that are what you have to prove yourself against before you gain any respect.” And the prevalence of scene whores has shattered any female solidarity that might exist among the hacker community, as groupies fight over the most highly skilled men and real female hackers fight the boys’ assumption that all women in the scene are groupies.
“When I first started in the scene, this one person said, you know, you can be my cyberwhore and you’ll be elite through association,” says Blueberry, who says she rejected the advance.
Dark Tangent, head of Defcon and a prominent male hacker, remembers a “scene whore” having videotaped sex with a male hacker in an elevator at the convention’s Las Vegas hotel. He warns of “evil groupies” who condition poorly adjusted male hackers to think of women as sex toys.
Natasha says she regularly has to throw women out of the IRC chat room that she hosts because they disrupt the tech talk by offering cybersex to her teenage charges.
“It’s really bad as far as the women ripping each other to shreds. This whole cybersex thing really bothers me,” Natasha says.
“A_kitten,” a 34-year-old woman from California whose Web site features sexy photos of herself, has been described as everything from a “scene whore” to a “cult leader” by terrified male hackers unwilling to give names to a reporter for fear of her “legion of groupie script kiddies” who used to crash sites on her command.
She doesn’t deny using her femininity to get her way in a male-dominated society.
“People just assume that since I am a girl and I have that power that I must be abusing it,” she says. “I think some guys are intimidated or offended by the natural power that women possess.”
But “St.” Jude Milhon, a prominent hacker from Berkeley, Calif., doesn’t see using feminine wiles as part of the spirit of hacking. “It wouldn’t be sporting. Simply be present, honest, reasonably competent, female, and everyone’s aghast.”
Fighting to Be Heard But it’s a hard battle for women to be respected in a culture dominated by teenage boys. The experience of women at the “entry levels” of the hacking scene, mostly in online chat groups, is one of relentless sexual harassment.
British sociologist Paul Taylor, author of Hackers: Crime in the Digital Sublime, terms this the “Wild, Wired West,” a rough-and-tumble social environment determined by the attitudes of insecure teenage boys trying to impress each other with “typed testosterone.”
“It’s almost like some Lord of the Flies-type environment,” he says, referring to William Golding’s novel about a group of teenage boys who descend into feral savagery when cut off from civilization.
The anonymity of online interaction also fuels sexual harassment, making it more difficult to enforce social rules and freeing the most maladjusted young men to take out their sexual frustrations on people with feminine handles, Taylor says.
“The first time I posted, I posted with a woman’s nickname. I was ripped to shreds: ‘You’re a woman, get off here, we’re not going to help you,’” Natasha says. When RosieX, founder of the Australian cyberfeminist magazine GeekGirl, got into the online bulletin board scene in 1990, she found women so intimidated by that attitude that they pretended to be male to avoid harassment.
“I was frustrated, because I wanted to learn skills and all the boys wanted to do was f---,” she says.
Even a_kitten, who takes pride in her power over those boys, sneers at them.
“For every 50 jerks on IRC, I stumble upon one nice guy that I can talk to,” she says.

Non-Sexist Elite
But the sexual gantlet seems to fade with experience. Defcon’s Dark Tangent says top-rank hackers generally stay away from the IRC channels, waiting to see whose thirst for knowledge is great enough to survive the savage atmosphere. To them, skill is all that matters, not the body it comes in.
“When you interact with people such as the L0pht, or the cDc or the most experienced members of the hacker culture, gender is a non-issue. It’s what you know that matters, and less who you are,” says Javaman, a Philadelphia-area hacker. “There is sexism at the lowest levels, but among the more skilled people, the more able people, it really is a non-issue.”
And at conventions, hackers seem to love nothing more than a woman who can fix a network breakdown. Though they’re tormented online, for some reason the rare women in hacking are treasured in person, female hackers say.
“Girls are victimized only in the bodiless state … in the flesh, they’re objects of wonder and fascination,” says Milhon.

Hacker Hangouts
There’s much debate among hackers as to what exactly is the hacker “scene.” There are plenty of hackers who aren’t part of the scene, and plenty of people - such as “scene whores,” girlfriends and just hangers-on - who aren’t hackers but who also hang out with them. Here are some places hackers congregate:

IRC chat rooms: Hackers largely eschew AOL chat and Instant Messenger for this older form of chat. Rooms like “#hackphreak” are full of “script kiddies,” aggressive teenage boys who form the bottom of the hacker food chain. More experienced hacker groups have invitation-only rooms to which they invite promising techies. Scene whores are common here, and female hackers often have to fight off the foul-mouthed boys.
2600 meetings: A step above the IRC bunch, this in-person, scheduled meetings (named after a hackers’ magazine) let young hackers around the country socialize with their nearby peers.
Conventions: At annual meetings like Defcon in Las Vegas and HOPE in New York, thousands of male and female hackers get together to discuss computer security. Top hacking groups give lectures, people trade lots of software and script kiddies try to “prove their skills” to their elders.

Private clubs: This is where the top minds trade information. On Web pages, through e-mail and in person, groups of experienced hackers push their machines to the limit in the search for advanced technical knowledge.
